Hi, I am looking at a 95 850 Turbo with 198k. It appears very clean inside and out. The asking price is $2400. High mileage does not bother me, I am currently driving a 97 Saturn with 280k and do all of my own maintainence. I must admit, I''m a bit intimidated at the thought of buying my first European car. I do know a bit about cars. Are these things any more tricky than most cars to diagnose? I know the labor rates for mechanics may be higher on them, but how about parts? Bottom line, is this a good idea and price for a semi-experienced backyard mechanic? Any useful info would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris

These cars are pretty easy to work on. Also for prices check out a post in the general sections names resources thread. I think it is also in the 850 section. Look through the parts sites.
