Yeah almost certainly TCV - MAP would (again TYPICALLY) have the code and be a mid summer (july/august) failure.

Ok, update.

I've replaced the TCV with IPD's. I bought new vacuum line too but haven't replaced that yet. But since I've replaced it I don't get any more jerkiness and acceleration is smoother then it's ever been! So it appears that that was problem. Thanks for your help, bender.
