Need some troubleshooting help

On my 95 850 Turbo 160k pretty much all has been replaced. The issue I am having is on startup it runs loud at 3k rpms for about 30 seconds then goes to 1200 rpms. While driving it is at 1500 rpms...

WTB 17" Pegs with Tires

I"ll keep that in mind I think that is what son #2 uses a Toshiba Satellite. I currently have and love a like new Sony Vaio with Vista. Have not seen any Vista problems.
